Assignment 7: Ordinary to Extraordinary

This was the image I started out with...

And this is what i ended up with... I put the tree in the foreground.  I had some trouble/wasn't sure how to make the space in between the branches to same color as the background sky.  I put it to grayscale to avoid any confusion about the mixture of the two different photographs.

This is the photograph where I got the tree from...

random, rockaway

World Trade Center rubble in the foreground with the Marine Parkway Bridge in the background.  This is where the ferry into lower Manhattan docks, which is a very fitting place to have the small WTC memorial

Jetty

Can't believe I caught the water coming up like that so clearly over the jetty.  Rockaway got hit hard with some huge waves leftover from Hurrican Ida!

Drive back to DC

The sky looked amazing leaving Rockaway on the Belt Parkway, wish I could have been on the beach to take this one!!

Fisherman

Forgot to post this last week after I got back from being home (in Rockaway)

I loved this picture the second I took it.  I like how the light serves as a leading line not only to the fisherman, but to further up the beach and the shoreline.

Residence of A Crazy Cat Lady

Found this cute alley way in Georgetown ...

Assignment 6: The Unseen

Dead Flowers
Played around with color to make them look more than alive again!
